He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Lowry Craig; and his sister Nita Stewart. He is survived by: his father Meredith Lee; his children, Meredith Key (Mitch) of LaGrange, GA and Sam Craig of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Porter and Booker Key; and his siblings, Bruce Craig (Judy) of Charlotte, NC and Lynda Williams (Steven) of Gastonia, NC. He is also survived by many cousins and four nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 7200 E W.T. Harris Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28215.
