He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Henshaw Newby; his daughters, Ellen Ashby Newby and Alyson Henshaw Newby; his sons-in-law, Joshua Michael Busch and Kenneth Robert Kingery; and his brother Steven Kent Newby.
