He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Mullis and Collie Mullis of Mint Hill. He is survived by: his wife Carol Mullis; his son Thomas Gary Mullis, Jr. of Charlotte; his stepsons, Michael Habenicht of Mint Hill and Brad Habenicht of Mt. Pleasant; and his sister Mary Belle Watson. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
