He was predeceased by: his parents, William Whaley and Juanita Whaley; his sister Linda Parsons; and his nephew Levon Parsons. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Smith (Craig) and Joel Whaley (Janie); his grandchildren, Ethan, Josey Whaley, Cassie and Haley Smith; his great grandchildren, Delilah Whaley and Gage Lookadoo; his nephew Sean Parsons (Gail); and his niece Chrystal Truxall (Dave).
