He is survived by: his parents, Lampros Louie T. and Theodora Megremis; his wife Carolyn Williams Megremis; his sons, Matthew Megremis (Julie) and Theodore Megremis (Jennifer); his grandsons, Aiden of Charlotte and Jayce Megremis of Charlotte; his daughter June Megremis; his sisters, Vicki Vaughn (Ned) of Greensboro and Georgette Galloway (Ed) of Greensboro; his nieces and nephews, Katherine, Victoria and Darden; his uncle Kimmon (Gwen); and his cousin Megan (Ryan). He is also survived by many cousins.

During COVID, our frequent correspondence reminded me of the reach of Tommy's intellect, his forthrightness and depth of insight. We talked of getting together for lunch and regrettably couldn't follow-through. Knowing Tommy since the mid-60's, I will always remember his bright smile, his openness, clarity and sincerity.
