It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tony Joe Little of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Tony Joe may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Franklin Little and Annie Mae Stancil Little; and his siblings, Patricia Little Barrier, Albert Ray Little, Fred Howard Little and Roy Junior Little.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Little Newsome (Bryan) and Stephen Mark Little; his siblings, Helen Little Diorio and Larry Eugene Little (Linda); and his granddaughter Katelyn Nancy Newsome. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the McEwen Funeral Service - Pineville Chapel (10500 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210). A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Sharon Memorial Park (5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212).
