It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Anderson McKinney (Charlotte, North Carolina), who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry "Penny" Isom and Juanita Anderson; and her siblings, Adriane Berry and Terry Douthit. She is survived by : her children, Derrick McKinney of Oxford, NC and Donna McKinney of Winston-Salem, NC; her grandchildren, Savannah, Tyler, Tristen and Tyriq; her great grandchildren, Sa'Niya, Tyler, Skyler, Serenity and Summer; her siblings, Alvonia A. Hill and Owens Douthit of Winston-Salem, NC; her nephews, Levi "Skeeter" Hill, Jr. and Dwayne Berry; her cousins, Shirley Carter (Thurmond) and Wallace Prysock (Jody) of New York; and her caregiver Sabrena Foxx (Derrick) of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
