It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Coughenour Lindsay (Charlotte, North Carolina), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 11, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Otto Coughenour and Annie Smith Coughenour; and her husband Samuel Bennett Lindsay. She is survived by: her children, Lori Lindsay Quievryn, Samuel Craig Lindsay (Susan), Bruce Bennett Lindsay (Janeen) and Lance Scott Lindsay (Tamara); her grandchildren, Brianna McKenna Lindsay, Timothy Louis Quievryn (Alexandria), Jennifer Quievryn Shields (Benjamin) and Daniel Robert Quievryn; her great grandchild Everest James Quievryn; and her brothers, Robert Coughenour and Ross Coughenour.
