It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Fulmer Floyd in Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Fulmer and Pearl Price Fulmer; her husband Julian W. Floyd; her sisters, Erma Sims and Elva Lee (Julian Floyd); and her son-in-law Chip Hough.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Floyd Polk (Ron) and Judy Floyd Woodward (Don); her grandchildren, Ginny Hough (Kevin), Julie Cutshall (Jason), Philip Woodward (Erin), Katie Drozd (Lewis) and Mark Woodward; and her sister Dorothy Kerscher. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
