He is survived by: his wife Rachel; his children, Sonya Lindley (Chandler Lindley) of Charlotte, NC, Walter Cropley, Jr. (Jean Cropley) of Dover Plains, NY and Christina Poteat (Clay Poteat) of Rock Hill, SC; his grandchildren, Brandon, Alexandria, Matthew Cropley, Charissa, Trent Lindley and Jakob Poteat; and his sisters, Georgia Mailman of Houlton, ME and Dola Austin of East Millinocket, ME. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
