He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fox and Nondas Harles Fox; his wife Kate Mae Willis Fox; and his son Gerald "Jerry" Lee Fox. He is survived by: his sons, James Richard Fox (Teresa), William Richard Fox, Jr. (Cheri) and Jeffery Eugene Fox (Nikki). He is also survived by four sisters, one brother; eleven grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
