With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Walker McCraw of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on April 24, 2021 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Benjamin McCraw and Lena Hurtt McCraw; and his wife Margaret Gately. He is survived by: his children, Ray McCraw (Marilyn) and Barbara Whitt. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ascension Lutheran Church, 1225 East Morehead Street, Charlotte, NC 28204.
