He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Terry Welch and Willie Sue Raby; and his aunt Nancy'Jim'Taylor (Special Grandmother). He is survived by : his parents, Sandy Welch and Tom Wahnetah (Clara); his siblings, Dylan Wahnetah and Abbygail Wahnetah; his half-sister Elle Wahnetah; his nieces and nephews, Paisley, Christoph Ensley and Aggy Bradley; his grandmother Glenda Welch; his aunts, Kandy Welch, Tina Saunooke, Terri Griffin and Hope Garcia (Fernando); his cousin Kitty Taylor; and his uncles, Rob Wahnetah (Nancy), Dave Wahnetah (Evelyn) and Jeff McCoy.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Acquoni Baptist Chapel (722 Acquoni Rd, Cherokee, NC 28719). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Acquoni Church (722 Acquoni Rd, Cherokee, NC 28719).
