He is survived by: his wife Ann Hord; his children, Cindy Clark (Kevin) of Mooresboro, Thomas Hord (Glenna) of Cherryville and Beth Thomas (Matt) of Cherryville; his grandchildren, Amy Emery (Matt), Brian Hord (Joy), Jonathan Darnell (Lindsey), Chris Hord (Shannon) and Harrison Newton; and his great grandchildren, Parker Emery, Gracie Emery, Cole Hord, Rhaya Hord, Jose-Kate Darnell and Jett Darnell.
