She is survived by: her parents, Steve Wayne Reep of Lincolnton and Evelyn Faye Whitesides Helms (Jim) of Lincolnton; her spouse Jerry Dean Mellon, Jr.; and her children, Zachary Logan Mellon of Cherryville and Cheyanne Marie Mellon of Cherryville.
