He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Richard Canipe and Donna Hopkins Gordon; and his brother Robert Allen Canipe. He is survived by: his wife Secret Williams Canipe; his daughters, Cameron Hope Canipe of Kannapolis and Allison Canipe Melo (Victor) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Cason Richard Canipe and Colson Rider Canipe; his sisters, Kim Parsons (Greg) of Salisbury, Melinda Hill (Glenn) of Davidson and Melissa Adkins (Scott) of Cleveland, NC; and his pets, Nika and Micah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made toward the purchase and donation of Bibles in Ricky's memory at his home churches.
