She was predeceased by: her parents, Macon Turner and Grace Jarman Turner; her husband William Vernon Whitley Sr.; her children, William Vernon Whitley Jr. and Tina Marie Faggart; and her siblings, Buddy Turner and Linda McVay.

She is survived by: her niece Elizabeth Starnes; and her pet Puddles. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
