She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Everett Sigmon and Katie Ruth Abernethy Sigmon; her husband Clyde Everett Rockett; her brothers, Joe Sigmon and George "Buck" Sigmon; her son Stephen Long Rockett; and her grandson Ricky Rockett, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Clyde Rockett, Jr. of Claremont, Ricky Dean Rockett of Claremont and Janet Rockett Wilson (Tommie) of Newton; and her grandchildren, Anna Slotchiver, Russel Rockett, Erika Bizjak, Brittany Frow, Kristen Souza, Timothy Price Jr., Anthony Benge, Haley Benge, Whitney and Katelyn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (5759 Bolick Rd, Claremont, NC 28610). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
