He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Gilmore Truesdale, Sr. and Lena Margaret Childers Truesdale; his brother Gerald G. Truesdale, Jr.; and his son-in-law Danny Bolick. He is survived by: his wife Annette White Truesdale; his daughters, Janis Bolick of Marion, Linda McCray (Darrin) of Maiden and Patricia Johnson (Michael) of Catawba; and his sister Geraldine Lebby (Davis) of Greensboro.
