He is survived by: his children, David Loftin (Gloria) of Hickory, Charlie Loftin (Kim) of Hickory, Christy Findley (John) of Hickory, Teresa Dobritz of Catawba and Lisa Grooms (Harold) of Rockingham; his sisters, Millie Honeycutt (Joe) of Newton and Carolyn Pardue (Ted) of Catawba; his brother-in-law Bryan Deal of Catawba; and his grandchildren, William Findley, Adam Findley, Samantha Findley, Haley Grooms, Morgan Loftin (Andrew), Roxie Rockett (Micah), Anna Major (Kyle), Chris Connor (Mandy) and Emily Loftin.
