Shook) of Hickory; his mother Ruby S. Shook of Claremont; his siblings, Bobbie Jo Hedrick (Robert Cade) of Taylorsville, Edna Mae Beal (James) of Lincolnton, Lucy A. Lail (Steve) of Hickory and Tony M. Shook of Claremont; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Ella, Elizabeth, Laken and Virginia A. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
