He is survived by : his parent Chester Harris; his spouse Roberta "Bert" Gore Harris; his children, Rachel Rebecca Harris Tyson (Jon) of Whiteville and Matthew Cecil Harris (Michele) of Clarendon; his siblings, Willard A. Harris (Ruth) of Chadbourn, Janice H. Byrd (Roger) of Lake Waccamaw and Sarah H. Roberts of Charlotte; and his grandchildren, Cory Harris (Cassie), Kayla T. McCormick (Kelly), Miranda Harris and Kady Tyson.
