We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2025, at the age of 92, Doris Dudley of Chadbourn, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Hardie and Agnes Hardie; her husband Homer Lee Garrell; and her son Avery Garrell. She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Garrell (Karen) of Clarendon, NC and Ricky Garrell (Wendy) of Whiteville, NC; her sister Josephine Cartrette of Chadbourn, NC; her daughter-in-law Jeannie Garrell; her granddaughters, Donna Stanley (Mitchell) and Belinda Mathews April (Tommy); her great grandchildren, Hannah Ginter, Jonathan Stanley, Aikin Ezzell, Lillian Ezzell, Grace, Faith Harrelson, Harper Inman, Waylon Inman, Dean Hewitt, Brycen and Carson Long; and her great great grandchildren, Charly Avery Ginther and Ellie Mae Ginther.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Inman Ward Funeral Home (300 E 5th St, Tabor City, NC 28463). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church (2665 Beaverdam Rd, Chadbourn, NC 28431).
