With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita Strickland (Clarendon, North Carolina), born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on June 4, 2019 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Juanita Strickland to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Luther Duncan and Hannah Stalvey Duncan; her husband Bill Strickland; her children, Linda C. Jacobs and Alton C. Cribb; and her siblings, Berris J. Duncan, Geneva Cannon, Alice Duncan, Ivey Duncan and Ila Rhodes.

She is survived by : her son Chris Strickland; her daughter-in-law Kathy Cribb of Nakina; her brother Charles W. Duncan of Lexington; her grandchildren, Joseph, Jacobs, III, David Jacobs, Dylan Insignares and Christian Hanna Strickland; and her great grandchildren, Jessie Reece Jacobs, Will Jacobs, Greenley Jacobs and Zachary Jacobs.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be addressed to Lower Cape Fear Hospice Angel House or to the American Cancer Society.
