With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judy Cartrette of Clarendon, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on June 22, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, L. D. Ward and Cecil Johnson Ward; her husband Bobby O'Neal Cartrette; her siblings, Diana W. Graham, Annette W. Watts and Ricky Ward; and her stepson Bobby Cartrette.

She is survived by : her children, Avonda Faye Pierce (Buddy) of Whiteville, Sam Buffkin (Tammy) of Clarendon and Jason P. Buffkin (Sherry) of Clarendon; her stepchildren, Tammy Renee Cartrette Price (Ivan) of Whiteville and Roy Gene Cartrette (Billie Jo) of Whiteville; her sisters, Donna W. Ray (Davie) of Clarendon and Teresa W. Cox (Kenny) of Loris, SC; her grandchildren, Aubrey Neal Cartrette (Haley), Tony Ray Smith, Amy Leanne Stocks (Neil), Jessica Renee Hollman (Wesley), Stevi Jean Cartrette, Grayson Buffkin, Tyler Buffkin and Caleb Shaun Buffkin; and her great grandchildren, Luke, Maddox, Tatum, Abel, Holden and Brianna.

Memorials may be made to Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church or to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center.
