She was predeceased by : her parents, Noah Jacobs and Carrie Gore Jacobs; and her sister Pearl Wright. She is survived by : her daughter Stephanie Teal Hill (Mark) of Kinston; her brother Cole Jacobs (Mary) of Goldsboro; and her grandsons, Steven Hill (Catherine Hofmann) of Raleigh and Evan Hill (Gray Little) of Raleigh. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
