She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Garrell and Evelyn Inman Garrell-Cartrette; and her siblings, Randy Garrell and Shelia Weatherford. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Ray Elkins; her son Eric Garrell (Macyne) of Chadbourn; her siblings, Darrell Garrell of Chadbourn and Karen Garrell Register of Whiteville; and her grandsons, Gabriel Garrell and William Garrell.
