In the vast expanse of eternity, may Apostle Vera find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She is survived by: her children, Juan Decarlos Tomlinson, Ahmad Rashad Tomlinson and Tremeka Tomlinson Bayless; her grandchildren, Rashad Smith, Tyana Barefield, Robert Keith Bayless III and Quinlan Stacy; and her siblings, Walter Ray Atkinson (Stank) and Margarette Ray.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the New Generation Christian Church (4423 Wilsons Mills Rd, Smithfield, NC 27577).
