With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Gardner Fulton of Clemmons, North Carolina, born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleveland Gardner and Iola Gardner; and her siblings, Tenny, Cleveland "June", Leonard, Lorenzer "Lo" Gardner, Sandra "Sue" Sullivan and Ruby Simons.
She is survived by: her daughter Valarie Fair (Dennis); her siblings, Betty Lowery, James Gardner (Edith), Raymond Gardner, Shirley Melton and Carolyn Hairston (Otis); and her grandchildren, Brian Fulton, Carl Fair, Jr., Brittany Fair, Amber Booker (Ryan) and Jeremiah Ellis. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Peter's Church. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
