She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Worrell and Edith Campbell Worrell; her husband Eugene "Gene" Gibson; her brother William "Bill" Worrell Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Lemons Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, David Gibson (Terrie) of Shelby, Steve Gibson of Mauldin, SC and Joan Gibson of Shelby; and her sisters, Sylvia Suggs (Delane) of Irmo, SC and Sue Morton (Vernon) of Butner, NC. She is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
