He is survived by: his wife Frances Blanton Beam; his children, Ricky Beam (Kay), Chris Beam (Cathy) of Shelby, John Beam (Donna) of Shelby and Sharon Beam of Concord; and his grandchildren, Rodney, Missy, Jennifer, Jason, Jada, Crystal, Cassie, Ceph, Will, Jacob, Kassi and Austin. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
