He was predeceased by: his parent Henry Arthur Shoemaker; his wife Betty Graham Shoemaker; and his siblings, Billy Shoemaker, Howard Shoemaker, Frank Shoemaker, Lester Shoemaker, Kelly Shoemaker, Thelma Lambe and Annie Parks.
He is survived by: his parent Annie Amanda Atwell Shoemaker; his sons, Larry A. Shoemaker (Martha) and Jimmy D. Shoemaker (Tamara); his grandchildren, Chasity Shoemaker, Jessica Shoemaker and Rachel Jarmen (Blake); and his great grandchildren, Robbie and Lance.
