He was predeceased by: his child Sysavath Sayavong. He is survived by: his children, Mona Sayavong, Melly Sayavong (Saubanh), Kikeo Sayavong (Temta), Somboun Sayavong (Ratbana), Phoumy Sayavong, Orady Sayavong and Bounthavy Sayavong (Chanthy). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren.
