She was predeceased by: her parent James T. Gallimore; her husband Charles Ernest Sutphin Sr.; her children, Patty Sutphin Dove and Jerry Wayne Sutphin; her grandson Jessie Chas Sutphin; and her brothers, Charlie Payton, Frank Lee, Fred Warren, Elmer Junior, William and Harry.
She is survived by: her sisters, Margaret Welch, Frances Whipkey and Lucy Pope; her sons, Charles Sutphin, Jr. (Debbie) of Climax and Richard Sutphin (Dana) of Cleveland; her siblings, Tommy Gallimore of Kernersville, Edith Whipkey of Randleman and Gladys Joyce of Cleveland; and also Craighead Gallimore.
