He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Taggert, Sr. and Annie Goodman Taggert; and his siblings, Robert Taggert, Henry Taggert, William Taggert, Margaret Taggert, Marion Taggert Heaggans, Lucille Taggert Wilson, Bertha Taggert Carr, Rachael Taggert Davidson and Haldren Taggert Davidson.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Mae Hargrove Taggert; his daughters, Kathy Taggert of Statesville and Rita L. Taggert of Statesville; his siblings-in-law, Cornelius Hargrove (Eller Wease) of Cooleemee, Ernest Hargrove (Nellie) of Mocksville, Ethel H. Trimiar of Mocksville, Alberta H. McEachern of Salisbury, Beaurene H. Polk (William) of Harrisbug and Sallie Marie Carr of Greensboro; and his nieces and nephews, Ketto Davidson (Shelia), LaBron Davidson, Cora Bell Knox, Mae Lois Poole, Annie Mae Davidson, Mildred Patterson (Jerry), Haldren Clark, Furrell J. Davidson, Sharon Cowan (Michael), Melinda McDonald (Dietrich), John Marshall Heaggans, DeCarlo Wilson, Clyde Davidson, Jr. and Ruby Woods. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
