She is survived by: her sisters, Betty L. H. Blackmon and Mary Frances Scott (Robert "Bob"); and her children, Derrick A. Haynes (Pamela) of Cambria Heights, Daniel E. Phifer, George A. Phifer, Carmen R. Leach (John F.) of Woodleaf, Barbara L. Allison (Bruce E.) of Statesville and Carol Y. Sharpe (David E.) of Statesville. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
