She was predeceased by : her parents, Ethel Eudy Wilhelm and Glenn C. Wilhelm; her husband John H. Dillon, Jr.; and her brothers, William Wilhelm and Larry Wilhelm.

She is survived by : her daughters, Glenda Baker (David) of Cleveland and Barbara Dillon of Mooresville; her siblings, John Wilhelm (Joanne) of Crawfordsville, GA and Irene Sherrill (Cecil) of Statesville; her grandsons, Jonathan Baker (Courtney) of Raleigh and Will Dillon of Mooresville; and her great grandchild Penelope Baker of Raleigh.
