He was predeceased by: his son Belvin Rooks, Jr.; and his siblings, Sam Rooks and Martha Rooks Woodward. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Rooks Massey (Doug) of Garner, Rhonda Rooks Connolly (Greg) of Dayton, Pamela Rooks Worley (Joe) of Salemburg and Kenneth Rooks (Pam) of Dunn; his grandchildren, Christina Massey Cassel (Craig), Elizabeth Massey Palmieri (Dan), Landon Massey (Robbin), Jody Blake (Jennifer), Brandi Blake McNamara (Jason), Andrew Worley (Jourdyn), Jordan Worley Kibler (Ian), Kenneth Rooks, Jr. (Hannah) and Anthony Rooks (Michelle); and his sisters, Lalon Rooks Willoughby of Stedman and Nancy Rooks Rinaldi of Richmond, Virginia.. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
