He is survived by: his children, Robbie Gore Williams (Todd) of Clinton, Abbie Gore Smitherman (Heath) of Goldsboro and Charles Gore, II of Woodland Hills, California; his brother Jimmy Gore (Bobbie) of Cary; his son-in-law Jeff Denny of Wake Forest; and his grandchildren, Mabry, Ford Williams, Jack, Brooks Denny, Hank and Carson Smitherman.
