He was predeceased by: his brother Simon Oates, Sr. (Sandra). He is survived by: his daughters, Evangelist Donil M. G Warren of Fayetteville, NC and Melissa A. Faison Withers (Jamonica); his grandson Nasir Parker; his brothers, Carl Oates (Gwen) of Faison, NC and Marvin Oates; his stepdaughter Shirley Parker; his cousins, Miss Tomasina Freeman and Semica Parker; his daughter Patricia M. Hines; and his grandchildren, Tony, Antoinette and Marcet. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
