With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cynthia Grider of Clinton, North Carolina, who passed away on December 5, 2020 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Howard Carr Hobbs; and her husband Charles Grider. She is survived by: her mother Doris Florence Boyette Hobbs of Clinton; her son Michael Howard Grider (Nichole) of Clinton; her sisters, Milly Hobbs Foushee (Jack) of Monroe and Lydia Hobbs Herring (Gary) of Clinton; her nieces and nephews, Lauren Wade West, Jessica Foushee Sinclar, Jenny Foushee Johnson and Ben Wade; and her grandchildren, Jazmine Gregory and Collin White.
A Private Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, December 9th at 1:00PM in the Clinton Cemetery with Rev. E. C. Mattocks officiating. (The family asks that masks be worn, and social distancing be observed.) Born in 1953 in Black Hawk County, Iowa, Cynthia was the daughter of Doris Florence Boyette Hobbs and the late Howard Carr Hobbs and was the widow of Charles Grider.
