He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvah Allen Peterson and Willie Frank Owen Peterson; his sister Sandra Peterson Barber; his brothers-in-law, Ronald Barber and Jesse King; and his grandson Andrew Marson Warren.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Peterson; his children, Jeff Peterson (Kathy), Dee P. Smith (Jeff) and Lori P. Warren (Bill); his grandchildren, Ana Peterson Bateman (Kent), Kara Peterson Atkinson (Tre), Halee Smith Inman (Landen), Hannah Smith Strickland (Tyler), Cole Warren, Trey Warren and Matthew Warren; his great grandchildren, Whit Bateman, Norah Bateman, Walker Atkinson and Neal Atkinson; and his sister Jacque Peterson King.
