He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl Bass and Helen Tew Bass; his sister Debra B. Potter; and his nephew Robbie Bass. He is survived by: his children, Donald Jackson Bass II of Clinton, Amanda Bass Stewart (Brad) of Clinton and Paige Bass Gregg (Jonathan) of Benson; his grandchildren, Ashley Stewart, Austin Stewart, Vadon Bass, Rivor Bass, Jaxon Gregg, Addy Stewart, Dylan Gregg, Olivia Gregg and Auden Stewart; his siblings, Brenda Boone (Billy) and Tommy Bass (Cindy); his daughter-in-law Sharon Owens; and his siblings' children, Cory Bass, Jessica Parrish and Brittany Hayes.
