She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletcher Norris and Nora Norris. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Holland (Fletcher), Billy DeWayne Smith (Cindy) and Vickie Haney (Nelson); and her siblings, Dorothy Tart of Raleigh and Larry Norris of Fayetteville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
