He is survived by: his wife Doris Crumpler; his sons, Bobby Crumpler (Joyce Creed) of Boone and Eugene Crumpler (Callie) of Clinton; his grandsons, William Crumpler, II (Lisa Matie), Thaxton Crumpler, Andrew Crumpler and Scott Grantham (Kelly); his great grandchild Bryce Grantham; and his sister Sarah Dudley of Clinton.
