He is survived by: his children, Sharon Annette Owens, Gary Austin Owens, Jr., David Fornes and Lora Fornes; his grandchildren, Vadon Bass, Meagan Daughtry, Allen Blanchard, River Bass, Erika Tyndall and Leslie Blanchard; his great grandchildren, Alexis Blanchard, Taylor Blanchard, Brielle Daughtry and Wade Tyndall; his siblings, Donna Adams and Michael Chalk; and his close friend Carolyn L. Jordan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
