She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Atkins and Hattie Atkins of Turkey, NC.; her husband George Huddleston; and her sister Vonnie Atkins. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca D. A. Atkins of Chapel Hill, NC and Joshua A. Atkins of Warsaw, NC; her uncles, Roosevelt Hardison and Leroy Henry of Jacksonville, NC; her siblings, Barbara Goodman (Allie) of Turkey, NC., Elaine Smith of Turkey, NC., Eddie Smith (Cathy) of Turkey, NC, Sheila Shipp (John) of Fayetteville, NC, Shaunta Adkins (Turkey) and Necole Foley (Dustin) of Jacksonville, NC; and her close friends, Cinda Morrisey and Richard Fuller. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
