He was predeceased by: his parents, Erastus Pope and Eva Warren Pope Vann. He is survived by: his wife Frances Bradshaw Pope; his sons, Harold Dixon Pope, Jr. and Gary Lynn Pope; his grandson Ricky Lynn Pope; and his siblings, Donald Pope, Shirley Pope Coats, Janice Pope Blalock and Charles Pope (Avertis).
