He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jordan Strickland; his children, Terry Strickland Avery (Ricky) and Christopher Harold Strickland (Chastity); his grandchildren, Bridgette Matthews (Jacob), Jonathon Avery, Katie Avery, Jordan Strickland and Anna Grace Strickland; his siblings, James Franklin Strickland (Debbie) of Granbury, Jerry Mac Strickland (Tonda) of Kenansville, Mildred Strickland Turner (Donald) of Clinton, Kay Strickland Hunter (Allen) of Clinton, Sharon Strickland Matthews (Gerald) of Clinton, Sandy Lynn Strickland of Clinton and Deana Strickland Knight (Karl) of Greensboro; and his nephew Tucker.
