He is survived by: his children, Casey Smith of Kinston and Anna Smith DeVaul (Chanson DeVaul) of Goldsboro; his siblings, Helen Earnest of Enterprise, AL., Barbara McDowell (James) of Andalusia, AL., Ginger McDowell of Bainbridge, GA. and Edward Smith of Bainbridge, GA.; and his grandchildren, Chandler Grant DeVaul and Addison Grace DeVaul. He is also survived by his family and his grandchildren.
